The acid test, tried and true method most commonly used today. By rubbing the gold-colored item on the black stone, an easily visible mark will remain. The mark is then tested by applying aqua fortis (nitric acid), which dissolves the mark of any item that is not gold.
This test is also used for silver and platinum.
STATE CERTIFIED SCALE
Our representative will weigh your items on one of our State Certified scales and calculate the value based on Karat and Weight & based on the days Precious Metals London Fix price. Your items never leave your site during the process. We will make the highest possible offer and when accepted the payment process begins. We will never pressure you to sell. If the offer is not accepted, we will return your items in the same condition given to us.
PAYMENT PROCESS
All of our offers are based on the Daily Market Price. No lot is too big or too small, we will buy any amount. Once the offer is accepted we will need two forms of ID (at least one must be picture ID) in order to write up a sale receipt. All of our payments are made in CASH on the spot!
